Lori is an executive coach, and leadership development specialist who is passionate about working with leaders and their teams to create high performance outcomes. She specializes in leadership and team development, Emotional Intelligence and Conversational Intelligence™. Through individual and team coaching, retreat facilitation, and course design and delivery she works to develop high performing leaders and teams that are capable of meeting today’s workplace challenges. She is passionate about helping leaders lead themselves and others to excellence.
Lori loves to connect and build strong relationships with others - everyone has a fascinating story to tell. Her warm and inclusive style creates the space for amazing things to happen. She partners with her clients to identify the real challenges and then works with them to find creative solutions to achieve success. Over the last 30 years Lori has worked in adult learning, individual and leadership development, and organizational development. In the last ten years she has added professional coaching to her portfolio. Lori has a Masters of Education Degree from the University of Toronto (Adult Education), a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching (CEC) from Royal Roads University and a Certificate in Authentic Leadership from The Banff Centre. Most recently she gained her Certificate in Conversational Intelligence™. Lori also holds a Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation (CPHR) and a Professional Coach Certification (PCC) from the International Coach Federation. She is also a qualified practitioner of a variety of professional development tools including the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Strengths Deployment Inventory (SDI), Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i), and the Leadership Circle Profile and uses these tools and others to bring out the very best in the clients and teams she works with.
Lori served on the board in the Edmonton Chapter of the International Coach Federation in various roles including President from 2013 to 2016. She is committed to continued professional development and seeks out every opportunity to grow and develop herself and maintain best practices in coaching and leadership development.
